Paper gives information on methods used in United States in design of concrete pipe culverts and refers to technical reports and papers describing those methods and how they were developed; methods used to estimate loads on concrete pipe culverts, to estimate amount of water which culvert will carry under many different conditions of size, slope, length, entrances and exits, and to design concrete pipe culverts as regards wall thickness, and steel areas and location for different loading conditions.
