Approach being used by some offices to facilitate bidding by incorporating photographs along with or actually as part of contract documents; example is given of design of campus utility tunnel for University of New Mexico; this was walk-in type tunnel, 6 ft wide and 7 ft high, about 4500 ft long; aerial picture was taken of area where new north tunnel extension was to be located; photograph drawings were then used of various critical tunnel locations; pole top photographs simplified bidding for electric distribution changes.
