Some factors affecting compressive strength of concrete
Data are presented for curves relating compressive strength and water/ cement ratio for three distinct criteria for compressive strength and two types of coarse aggregate; paper re-examines effects of varying both cement content and sand concentration, for given water/ cement ratio, on compressive strength; it is shown that effects of these secondary factors are fairly small.
