Staggered transverse wall beams of multistory concrete buildings
Architectural, mechanical, structural, and economic aspects of new framing system for reinforced concrete multistory residential buildings; results of tests on two half-scale wall beam models are discussed; staggered wall beam system was found structurally efficient; comparative study of conventional schemes for three different heights of buildings shows new system to be competitive with other forms of construction.
