Hypothesis is proposed for producing economical structural concrete of practically no shrinkage, at comparatively higher strength and modulus of elasticity, with lower creep, and with less cost than conventional concrete by synthesis of gap-graded coarse aggregate and shrinkage-compensating matrix.
