Studies on air permeability of cellular concrete
Relationships between pressure and permeation velocity, those between permeation percentage and void percentage, as well as void diameter and other relationships were examined on six kinds of cellular concrete having different specific gravities and having dry densities of 0.3 to 2.0 kg/liter; air or nitrogen gas was allowed to pass through cylinder (permeation cell) in which each cellular concrete sample was placed; pressures at entrance and exist temperatures and volumes of fluid were measured.
