La reconstruction du pont de Chatou sur la Seine
Rebuilding of bridge over Seine at Chatou; bridge of welded steel construction is in form of cross, with 314 m long main arm and 133 m long secondary arm serving Chatou Island; deck is 14 m wide, plus two 3 m wide cantilevered sidewalks; girders are entirely welded in lengths up to 88 m, in factory or in-situ; two ends of bridge consist of independent girders resting on one side on abutments, and on other side on 10 m cantilever of main girder; linking up two 59 m long island access spans with main structure posed unusual problem which was solved after numerous studies.
