Ideenwettbewerb fuer eine feste Verbindung ueber den Grossen Belt
Proposals for connecting route over Great Belt; 20 km long route between cities of Nyborg and Korsor comprises two sea crossings of respective lengths of 5700 m and 5396 m, and 1300 m long crossing of Sprago island; ten prize-winning proposals for system of road- and railroad bridges chosen from 105 proposals submitted are briefly described; one solution considers construction of 25 km long tunnel; proposals included wide variety of bridge constructions, with preponderance of suspension bridges with skew system of tension cables or bars.
