Free vibration in skew girder bridges with right grillage system
Vibration problems were investigated theoretically using orthogonal anisotropic parallelogram plate theory; experiments carried out on three simply supported bridges with various span lengths and angles of skew verified theoretical data; theory used in study made it possible to determine effect of angle of skew in addition to stiffness parameter and torsional factor which are included in Guyon-Massonnet formula. (In Japanese with English abstract)
