A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Description of successful treatment which renovated 2 sluggish wells built for University of Illinois; because of ground conditions and other evidence, calcium deposits were suspected, but treatment with muriatic acid disproved this theory; next assumption was better -- chlorine solution was poured in to attack possible iron growths, and well was thoroughly flushed out. (see also Eng and Contract Rec v 55 n 33 Aug 19 1942 p 18)
