Complete text of report on laboratory and field tests made by Idaho Bureau of Highways and College of Engineering Materials Testing Laboratory; results indicate that precoat of furfural prevents stripping of asphalt from hydrophilic aggregates, but that proper grading and good curing are also essential in seal coat construction.
