On December 4 1941, conference of manufacturers, distributors and users of gravity-circulating type gas floor furnaces adopted recommended commercial standard for this appliance; those concerned have since accepted and approved for promulgation by U S Department of Commerce through National Bureau of Standards, standard as shown; standard is effective for new production from May 25 1942.
