Stress-strain characteristics of plastic clay masses
Mechanical properties of clay masses were investigated in terms of fundamental concepts, stress and strain, and interpretation involved general terms, plasticity and workability; compressive forces, applied by means of newly designed apparatus, were used throughout; description of apparatus as well as of results for 12 different bodies, 5 individual clays, and 5 clay flint mixtures.
