Design hydrographs for pennsylvania watersheds
Results of hydrograph study for small and medium Pennsylvania watersheds are presented; 26 watersheds, ranging in size from 2.4 to 210 sq mi, were analyzed; interflow is separated from surface runoff and procedures are described to develop both; for surface runoff, readily obtainable watershed characteristics are correlated with parameters of mathematical model for unit hydrograph; interflow is correlated with rainfall, runoff, and antecedent moisture conditions; procedure for design hydrographs for small ungaged watersheds is presented.
