Municipal engineer's role in planning water resources development
Example is presented to show role of municipal engineer in coordination with other agencies and associated disciplines in planning and accomplishing development of water resources in anticipation of need; municipal engineer must be part to planning and development through team effort with local state and federal agencies to eliminate duplication, evaluate all factors, maximize benefits among many water-associated uses, assist governing board in development of policy, and guide program from conception to completion through informed public convinced of its necessity.
