Observations on inflows of water during excavation of tunnel under Mont-Blanc
Tunnel is 11.6 km long and crosses crystalline metamorphic cormations and granites; inflow of water into French part of tunnel is 200 liter/sec; it is probable that this inflow is caused by infiltration of water from glacier.
