Analytical-experimental method for determining interface tractions for buried structures subjected to static loads
Outer boundary tractions of normal pressure and shear may be determined for rigid circular culvert by studying displacement field of inner boundary; given inner boundary displacements, elastic response of structure will yield, on analysis, that unique loading responsible for displacements; equations of elastic analysis of culvert are developed; charts for ease in application of parameters are plotted.
