Computer analysis of nonlinear truss-structures
Computerized analytical approach, using direct stiffness matrix method, is developed for nonlinear structural analysis; approach is limited to truss-type structures having one or more members stressed above their proportional limit; analysis results in stresses and corresponding strains in all members as well as in node deflections of structure; examples are solved and results are compared with previous experimental investigations.
