Electroslag remelting of chromium-manganese-nickel heat-resisting EI481 steel
Results of study showed that most effective method of remelting this steel is under slag of CaF2-CaO system; this reduces contamination of steel by inclusions, tensile strength increases at 650 C and other mechanical properties are also improved and become more uniform in various directions and throughout drop forgings.
