Isoforming -- Technique of deformation during isothermal transformation to pearlite
Isoforming was applied to En18 low alloy structural Cr-Mn steel; technique of this thermomechanical treatment is described in detail; emphasis of discussion is on sub-structural changes brought about by isoforming and effect of these changes on tensile properties and impact resistance; comparisons are made with structures and properties of same steel after conventional treatments.
