New type of spillway is termed fuse-plug spillway
In recent years spill of floods became difficult and expensive problem because new dams were constructed on very large rivers of which hydrology was incompletely determined, dimensions given to spillways are also indeterminate; fuse-plugs are structures which functions to spill peak of big floods; paper describes characteristics of structures and gives some details on spilling phases and problems connected with them.
