Simple method for obtaining undisturbed soil samples for CBR determination
Simple arrangement for collecting undisturbed soil samples for determining CBR value of road bases and subgrades has been developed by making use of hard steel core cutters of same internal dimensions as standard CBR molds; percent-area ratio of core cutters is 8.5; method for collecting undisturbed samples by new arrangement has been explained and illustrated and results compared with in situ test results.
