Investigation of sawed joints in concrete pavements
Investigation to determine whether experience with sawing of contraction joints in concrete pavements has been sufficiently satisfactory to warrant that this method be specified for construction of airfield and other military pavements; field studies to determine minimum depth of cut feasible for sawed joints, and methods of widening top of sawed joints to improve sealing with jet-fuel-resistant sealing materials.
