Case of El Paso, Tex, -- Juarez, Mexico, section of Rio Grande Valley is presented to illustrate proportion of available water that was lost because of natural channel conditions, and to indicate method used in reducing these losses; manner in which consumptive use was determined is shown in detail; effect of river control is analyzed, and recommendations are made for planning of similar projects.
