Deals with conditions in Lafayette, Ind., which, with slight modifications represent conditions in every Indiana city of any size; in attempting solution of acute traffic and parking situation, ordinance was first enacted establishing four through streets parallel to Main St. and encouraging traffic to use these streets; next measure was that of limited time parking ordinance to cover more congested business districts with one and two-hour parking limits according to importance of street.
