Single-layer corrugated-steel-sheet hypars
Vertical loading tests were conducted on several hyperbolic paraboloid (hypar) roofs fabricated from 4-ft-square shell with rectangular corrugations, two 8-ft-square shells with curved corrugations, three adjustable-warp 18-in.-square corrugated-steel-foil models, and two full-size canopies, one 20×24 ft and other 20×28 ft in plan, each canopy consisting of single column supporting four hyperbolic paraboloid quadrants fabricated from curved corrugated steel sheets.
