A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Effect of certain cationic surface active agents on waterproofing properties of bitumen cutback used in soil stabilization for road construction; paraffin wax and rubber were also included in study for comparison; all chemicals were found to have marked effect in enhancing waterproofing property of bitumen, consequently effecting savings in consumption of binder for obtaining desired results; paraffin wax was found to be most effective and economical additive.
