Study of physical factors affecting durability of asphaltic pavements
Pavements were constructed to determine penetration-absolute viscosity relationship for different asphalts used; some aggregate was used for each project; investigations were confined to waring course due to its exposed position in pavement; test pavements were asphaltic-concrete overlays on portland cement concrete; Abson recovery tests were made on obtained samples as part of laboratory investigation; penetration, standard ductility, microductility, absolute viscosity, and chemical analysis tests were made and data analyzed.
