Proposed cantilever bridge at Sydney, New South Wales
Tenders and designs call for erection of bridge carrying four lines of railway, 35-ft. main and 18-ft. motor roadway, and 15-ft. footway, having total length of 3816 ft. center to center of abutments. Bridge is to consist of steel cantilevers spaced 98 ft. 6 in. apart, with shore and harbor arms, each 500 ft. long. Clear span from center to center of main piers will be 1600 ft.
