Flow characteristics and roughness coefficients of sewer pipes
Pipes tested as project of Ohio State University Research Foundation were 8 in. diam, standard strength, vitrified clay and asbestos cement; 3 ft lengths of clay pipe were jointed with jute; cement asbestos pipe were jointed with rubber rings; roughness coefficients were all between 0.0085 and 0.012; charts show velocity and discharge versus depth of flow, respectively.
