Soil stabilizing permits sand augering
To overcome difficulty of caving holes in sandy areas it was necessary to develop process of stabilizing sand long enough to permit augering hole, setting template and reinforcing steel cage, and pouring concrete; soil is stabilized by injection of chemical solution into alluvial deposit so that auger can be used to bore tower footing holes.
