Coventry swimming baths
There is main pool of full international standard, 165 ft long by 56 ft wide with additional area 60 ft long by 35 ft wide for diving, small pool of conventional type, 110 ft long and 42 ft wide, and teaching pool 42 ft long by 27 ft wide and from 2 ft 6 in. to 2 ft 9 in. deep; 4 stanchions, 2 lattice girders and 2 end trusses, designed as portal frames in 2 directions, constitute highly indeterminate but rigid structure; roof steelwork is covered with aluminum decking on cork insulation and roofing felt; longitudinal section is shown in diagram; pools are of reinforced concrete; notes on glass walls, services, etc, are included.
