Some experiments with Jodhpur mini-compactor
Small-sized laboratory compaction apparatus developed for preparing remolded specimens, 75 mm in diam, for permeability, consolidation and shear tests, and also establishing water content density relationships; results of compaction tests with this apparatus and with standard Proctor compaction apparatus are compared for wide variety of soils ranging from sands to highly plastic clays.
