A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Graphic method, as developed by Hauff, makes it possible to determine exactly runoff for any frequency of surcharging and this runoff is based on most critical rainfall for each sewer stretch with regard to relationship of rainfall intensity to rainfall duration; method permits analysis of storm water reservoirs and calculation of excess flows which are diverted over weir as rate of flow with respect to time is given; extra work involved in using accurate graphic method is considered justified.
