Design of prestressed rolling mill stands
It is shown that reductions in deformation of mill stands can be achieved by increasing rigidity of bolts and chocks; in some cases it is advisable to cast roll bearing chocks in form of single steel block. (See also Stal n 6 June 1962 p 427-31)
