Four-hour concrete patching with low-shrinkage admixture
New fast method of resurfacing broken sections of concrete pavements with fast-setting portland cement concrete; technique utilizes quick-setting admixture in portland cement concrete mix which achieves specified 20-day strengths in 24 hr; strengths of 1800 psi are developed within 4 hr; strengths at 70 F ambient temperatures show 2400 psi in 17 hr, over 4000 psi in 24 hr and 7000 psi strengths in 4 days.
