Paper is based upon 20 yr experience in pressure grouting of dam foundations, tunnels and shafts; as there is considerable controversy as to what constitutes best practice in cement grouting, pertinent items are discussed and their pros and cons presented to stimulate thinking on these matters: examples given of experience on construction projects and of current practices and techniques.
