Magnetic permeability of steel studied after annealing at 15, 700, 850 and 980 deg.; at 700 deg. globular pearlite structure was observed, giving place almost entirely to sorbitic pearlite structure at 850 and 980 deg.; this change is accompanied by increase in magnetic permeability.
