Tensile properties of dense graded bituminous concrete
Investigation of stress-strain characteristics of certain dense graded bituminous mixes at various temperatures and rates of loading; 3 microaggregates and 3 asphalt contents were used; results show relatively low and similar tensile failure strains for stable mixes and varied effects of temperature and loading time on ultimate strength of different compositions; fibrous microaggregate increased tensile strength of bituminous concrete at low temperature.
