Service reservoir in Westby, England, was roofed with curved trough aluminum sheeting designed as arch to span between top flanges of main roof beams; design was based on module 54 ft square with columns on opposite sides of module at 18 ft centers; main beams span 54 ft between columns; secondary beams were introduced between heads of columns to transmit horizontal forces equally between columns; main roof beams are Y section, of precast prestressed concrete, and trough-shaped to carry off rainwater.
