Production of semiporcelain by lowering of firing temperature
Since it is desired to produce low porosity at low firing temperature, dependence of latter on type and content of fluxes is illustrated for several optimal batches which indicate direction of development; by completely replacing 30% feldspar by same percentage of nepheline-syenite plus spodumene (in ratio of 2 to 1), maturing temperature was lowered by 200 C.
