Hiley formula simplified without graphs
Simple method of applying Hiley pile driving formula for reinforced concrete piles making use of set of curves or graphs was previously reported (see Engineering Index 1961 p 1245); curves are now represented by simple empirically derived formula; when used within limits described, formula will give result which will be within range of about plus or minus 6% of that which would be obtained by using same data applied to original Hiley formula.
