Dipper dredge built for Great Lakes Dredge and Dock Co in 1929 has been repowered with 8-cyl Nordberg Supairthermal in-line engine rated 1100 hp at 300 rpm; length of dredge is 156 ft, beam 42 1/2 ft; boom is 60 ft long and carries 59 ft or 69 ft long handle, depending on dredging job; working depth is from 18 to 50 ft.
