Erection methods used for Angus L. Macdonald suspension bridge
Bridge has three suspended spans; main span is 1447 ft 2 in. long, side spans are each 526 ft 7 in.; towers reach 328 ft above high tide; clearance under center of main span is 158 ft above high water; two cables 13 1/2 in. in diam support entire live and deadweight of suspended spans; design and dimensions of various structural components and their erection.
