Temperature measurements of grinding stone (natural stone)
Results of tests show that natural stone, because of its good heat conductivity, is much more suitable than artificial stone for wood-pulp grinding; failure due to heat of friction is hardly to be expected; precautions to be observed in use of natural stone. (See also - discussion p 472-477, 24 figs.)
