Barasona Reservoir, built to regulate supply for Aragon and Catalunya canal, which derives from Esera River 2 1/2 km. downstream; gravity dam of triangular section, calculated by Pigeaud method and built of concrete blocks; dam 55 m. high, 62 m. long and 4 m. wide on crest; impounds 71 million cu. ft.; total cost of project 12,500,000 pesetas; in addition to use for irrigation, hydroelectric plant is projected.
