Feasibility of corewall dam, with bedrock unattainable, at Sylvenstein canyon, on Isar river
Project of earth dam, 57 ft. high, with masonry corewall descending to depth of 60 m. below surface where it is to be supported on circular arch of 120 m. span and 100 m. radius, firm bedrock being at depth of 320 to 470 m. under surface of ground; construction of arch to be effected through shaft and tunnel at each dam abutment.
