Influence of limestone aggregate on strength of concrete and mortar
Investigation of concrete composed of portland cement of standard quality with strength of 240 kg. per sq. cm., gravel and sand from Moskwa River, and lime with compressive strength of 160 kg. per sq. cm.; when soft aggregates are used instead of hard, there is noticeable decrease in strength especially in case of fat mixtures.
