Reinforcedconcrete highway bridge in amusement park near Paris; span was to be 9 m. in clear, and headroom of 1.9 m. was to be guaranteed; use of steel-pipe reinforcement, 60 mm. external diam. and 53 mm. internal diam., filled with concrete, for reinforcement of arch, allowed extra load of 28 per cent to be borne by structure.
