During summer of 1926 New Jersey State Highway Commission, in cooperation with Bureau of Public Roads, conducted series of concrete tests at Trenton, to determine relative quality and economy of concrete paving mixtures in which 13 different gradations of crushed stone (trap) and gravel were used as coarse aggregate; conclusions reached and recommendations relative to application of results. (See also Pit and Quarry vol. 16, no. 1, Apr. 11, 1928 pp. 55-56, 11 figs)
